The staff at check-out were very cool. The rooms have a view. The location is magnificent and exceptionally nice on Hill. The manager bent over backwards to be helpful, even helped me get breakfast ( I use a walker) and finding my toothpaste that I could not find on my own. She's number one in my estimate.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable.The toilet quit working and the repairman came within 20 minutes to fix it. He was very friendly and had the problem fixed within about 10 minutes.

The bathroom was not very clean. There was dust and dirt on the baseboard and the room smelled very stale when we walked in.

😊 Decent breakfast options like waffles and hardboiled eggs, along with tasty banana bread. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Convenient central location just a short walk downhill.

A Great Place to Stay

Whenever we're in town, we always choose to stay at this place. The rooms are spotless and pretty quiet, plus you get Wi-Fi, a comfy couch, and a microwave for your convenience. 🛋️

Exceptionally friendly and absolutely great hotel with pretty friendly employees at check-out Nicely updated & tastefully decorated room with the sheets, a king sized bed. Comfortable and perfect setting in the nice enough area, right by the beach and town, close to stores and awesome shops. The venue of choice in Newport.

Room smelled like cat pee, opened the window.....!not really an ocean view you can see a sliver around the buildings lol bed was hard too and springy. Killed my back

Everything was great, INFORMATIVE staff, fantastic views of the ocean. I booked a room with an exceptionally comfortable bed, a microwave, a fridge, and coffee and tea making equipment.

It was clean and the people were very friendly. They had good recommendations for places to eat. Very close to a great breakfast/lunch restaurant (The Pig and Pancake) and Dutch Bros.

The bed really dragged down the rating for this place. It had a worn-out mattress that gave no support at all. Woke up each morning with a back-ache that got worse each day. A shower and a bed are the main reasons to use a motel, so it shouldn't feel like you slept in your car. They should *not* call it "breakfast." It's coffee, juice, and a roll. The guest right below us left his big, very loud barking dog alone in the room (against the rules) for 3 hours one day and 4 hours the next--and it barked the entire time. The staff tried to call him, but he had left a work number with them and it was after hours. Not exactly the motel's fault, but it really got on our nerves.

The Front Desk Representatives Tammy, Tiffany, & Rochelle are friendly, professional & are true assets to this Econo Lodge & great Ambassador's to the city of Newport with their vast knowledge of the goings on & places to be. The ladies deserve a hefty raise!! Thank y'all so much for everything!!
